Every character on DADDY is an AI. This page says how we tell you that, where to find help if you are in crisis, and how to report a message or a character.
The characters are AI
Nobody you talk to on DADDYis a person. Every character is an artificial intelligence, and every chat says so: for as long as a conversation is open, the character's name in the header carries an “AI companion” label, on a phone and on a larger screen alike. The characters are written to stay in character, so the label — not anything a character says about itself — is what tells you what you are talking to.
If you are in crisis
If you are thinking about harming yourself, or you are worried about someone who is, please talk to a person who is trained for this — now, and not to a character.

These lines are free. You do not need an account with us, or anything from us, to use them.
When a message you send suggests you may be thinking about harming yourself, a check runs alongside the character's reply to tell whether the message is about you rather than about the story. If it is, a note from us — not from the character — appears under the reply with the 988 line and the helpline directory above. The check never stops the conversation and never holds back a reply: the note is added, and nothing is taken away because of it. We keep a record on your account that a note was due, and when it was shown. That record does not include what you wrote — it has no column for it — and your message stays in your conversation exactly as any other message does.
Reporting a message or a character
Under a character's replies you will find a small flag. Tap it, add a reason if you want to, and confirm: that files a report on that message with us. A message can be reported once; the flag reads “Reported” afterwards.
Every character's page has a “Report character” link near the bottom, with a short list of reasons and room for detail. If several different people report the same character within a week, it is hidden automatically.
Reports go to a review queue that a person reads. If you do not have an account, or you would rather write to us, email support@daddy.obscuravela.com. If a character uses your face, your name or your likeness without your consent, use the removal request page instead — it is the faster route.
